Is there a website from 1996 you'd like to see again? If you know the address (URL), then you can possibly find what you are looking for with the Wayback Machine. Bibliotheca Alexandrina has a snapshot of most websites going back that far, updated from time to time. Some archived websites are more complete than others. Though I wasn't able to find my blog on it, I was able to have a look at my old mission website.
