Passport Delays

A while back I posted about how my passport had expired and I needed to get a new one. Well, it's just as well I didn't try. If you've read or watched much news lately you'll know that the Department of Homeland Security underestimated the demand after new rules went into place requiring passports for all U.S. citizens traveling by air between the U.S. and Canada or Mexico. People's trips are ruined, all because of bureaucratic failure. Congress had even offered Homeland Security more time to get ready, but they insisted six months was enough.

Within a month or so I plan to start the paperwork, and rather than make the trip to Brazil now, perhaps I can do it in January of next year. That is a vacation month in Brazil. However, Cris would like to stay there longer with the kids. So I'm a little afraid we may need to wait until next July.

  1. I am glad to have come across your blog. I enjoyed reading it. I will pray that you get your passport and that all goes in Brazil. God will open the door and bless your ministry. Remember that with God all things are possible. God bless you Adam.

  2. Preacherman,

I'm glad you've enjoyed my blog, and hope that you'll come back from time to time. I'm not able to update it daily, as I used to, due to work, family and ministry commitments. Thank you for your prayers.
